Darren Parris - PGA Senior Head ProfessionalI was a former junior member at North Foreland. I then turned professional in 1991 and became a fully qualified PGA Professional in 1994; I took over as Head Professional in July 2001. My prefered style of coaching is straightforward, but effective which has allowed me to teach all standards of players, including many other professionals. Having been PGA Qualified for over 15 years, I have gained valuable experience to draw upon to help improve your game. Alternatively if you would prefer a playing lesson, I have played in the 2006 Open Championship, the 2005 PGA Cup, winning all five of his matches, and have been the winner of the Kent PGA Order of Merit twice. More recently, I was voted Foremost Professional in 2010, and I also won the inaugural Foremost Professional Championship in May 2011.
Alex Blown - PGA Head ProfessionalAlex started playing golf when he was eleven years old at Lydd Golf Club, under the supervision of Andrew Jones. After several years at Etchinghill Golf Club in Folkestone, he went on to represent club and county in various competitions. He has been with us at North Foreland since March 2009, and turned professional in May 2010.
When he’s not working at North Foreland, Alex regularly competes on the South Region circuit and at various Order Of Merit events across the country.
Alex has been coaching regularly since July 2010 and has built a strong base of male, female and junior members as well as visiting golfers with his simple coaching techniques, ranging from low single figure handicappers to beginners.
Matt Hart - PGA Head Assistant ProfessionalMatt started his junior golf at Ashford golf club, at the age 17 he joined The Sussex College of Golf on a two year college course where he received regular coaching from Paul Lyons and European Tour coach Dennis Pugh.
